Since 2007, 1Eid has grown from a local community initiative into a global movement. With the help of donors and volunteers we’ve provided food, water, shelter, education and healthcare to struggling families, and the work has accelerated since 2019, both in the UK and abroad.
The believers in their mutual love, mercy and compassion are like one body: when one limb aches, the whole body responds with sleeplessness and fever.

The Watan Project (Afghanistan)
Building schools and orphanages, feeding widows and their families, and providing medical aid.
Peace Within
Counselling and Islamic self-development that brings together modern psychology and faith, plus workshops on mental health, parenting and children’s wellbeing.
1Eid Community Support
Food, essentials and financial relief for local families throughout the year, with extra help in Ramadan and at Eid.

Bringing people of different backgrounds together for dialogue and mutual respect.
1Eid Food Drive (2020)
When COVID-19 cancelled community events in 2020, we kept serving. Volunteers in East London and Luton packed Eid gift boxes of fruit, cakes, nuts and sweets, and with Chapters and Luton food banks we delivered them to 200 families, Muslim and non-Muslim alike.
Thank you to the local bakers and businesses who donated, including Bestway, Nirala and Azhar Academy, and to Serving Humanity for delivering.
Feeding our NHS staff
During the pandemic, many NHS staff working through Ramadan had no time for suhoor or iftar. 1Eid arranged hot meals for staff, Muslim and non-Muslim, delivered with Serving Humanity.
