Al-Nu’man ibn Bashir reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,
“The parable of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for each other is that of a body.
When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever.”

1Eid has the intentions to be global and is working tirelessly to fulfil our aims of social inclusion and bringing communities together not just in the UK but all around the world. Since 2007, our dawah (call or to invite) has grown to support and facilitate events and festivals throughout the UK, building bridges within the community and spreading a positive message and image of the beautiful faith of Islam.
Our platform has also been used successfully to raise awareness of those who are less fortunate. 1Eid serves both purposes through our donors, to give people their basic human needs (food/water/shelter/education/healthcare) and also the human need of joy, hope and community which is just as important. It does not make sense to send Eid gifts to children and then to ignore the plight of the family unit, especially if they lack basic needs such as shelter and food.
1Eid has been able to achieve tremendous work in the UK, and have further used our platform to support those people and services living abroad as this is the very essence of Eid – to want for others what you would want for yourself.
Since 2019, with the work we have been involved in and the support of all our donors, our charity has grown fast in this direction to achieve its purpose. As Muslims we have two obligations upon us which is to serve our community locally and globally. Social inclusion and community cohesion is essential on all levels. These projects will encompass it all with the same outcome being that essentially people will be brought together and achieve a sense of peace and unity which is the vision of the charity. This is definitely the direction of growth and seeing 1Eid in other countries will surely be a symbol of hope for all those supporting our movement but also for others around the world. We are all entitled to have that feeling of happiness and the spirit of togetherness and love.
Using our platform, we have managed to support the following projects:
1Eid Africa – Water Wells ( Uganda )
1Eid Africa – Food Pack ( Sierra Leone )
1Eid Africa – Masjid Projects ( Uganda)
1Eid Africa – Quran Distribution ( Uganda)
1Eid Syria – Food Pack Project
1Eid Syria – Bread Project
1Eid Syria – Tent Project
1Eid Syria – Prayer
1Eid Pakistan – Water Wells
1Eid Morocco – Eid Festival
1Eid Morocco – Food Distribution
2020 saw the country crippled with the arrival of the Covid 19. Unfortunately all our community events were cancelled. 1Eid wanted to still continue to support the community during this testing time.
1 Eid Food Drive
We would like to thank our fantastic team of volunteers for putting together these 1Eid food packs for vulnerable families struggling during the Pandemic.
Eid is a special time of year and we didn’t want families to miss out on the strains of the Pandemic on this special day.
Our teams in East London and Luton took it upon themselves to arrange Food gift boxes full of delicious treats such as fresh fruits, cakes, nuts, and sweets.
These food packs were distributed in partnership with Chapters food bank and Luton food bank to 200 families shared with Muslim and non-Muslim families to spread a smile at Eid and a part of our dawah initiative.
The prophet (S) said: None of you [truly] believes until he loves for his brother that which he loves for himself. [Al-Bukhari] [Muslim]

Feeding Our NHS Staff
Our gratitude and support go out to all the NHS staff members who are risking their lives to save lives. When the Pandemic hit medical staff was working around the clock. The blessed month of Ramadan meant many of our Muslim NHS staff were also struggling to have the time to make suhoor and iftar.
As a gesture to show our love and appreciation 1Eid arranged food during Ramadan to help support staff (Muslim and non-Muslim) to ensure they were receiving a hot meal.
A special thanks to our delivery partners Serving Humanity who arranged the delivery to the staff.
Future projects:
1Eid Orphan campaign – helping children reclaim their childhood.
1Eid Women’s campaign – helping women ( in particular widows) become part of society through helping them adopt skills and offering them shelter and security.
1Eid Feed the needy – helping support families with the basic need of food.
Anas ibn Malik reported: The Prophet, peace, and blessings be upon him, said,
“None of you will have faith until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.”
In another narration, the Prophet said,
“Until he loves for his neighbour what he loves for himself.”
