1Eid began in 2007 with a simple dream — to revive the joy, unity, and spirit of Eid for everyone.
What started as a small community gathering has blossomed into a nationwide movement for peace, inclusion, and social change.

For nearly two decades, 1Eid has been entirely volunteer-run and community-powered, fuelled by heart, faith, and unwavering dedication. Despite challenges and setbacks, our mission has remained steadfast:
to bring people together in celebration, compassion, and shared humanity.

Every year, 1Eid grows — introducing new attractions, initiatives, and spaces where families of all backgrounds can come together in love and celebration.

Beyond the festivities, our work transforms lives — by training youth in valuable skills, empowering local businesses, building interfaith bridges, and leading humanitarian projects across the world.

📜 Our Journey Through the Years

2007 – Ealing Launch
The first-ever 1Eid celebration brings communities together to revive the Sunnah of celebrating Eid in the open.

2008 – Brent Launch
Expansion begins as 1Eid reaches new communities, laying the foundation for a growing national movement.

2010 – Redbridge, Birmingham & Luton Launches
Three new cities join the 1Eid family, sharing joy, prayer, and unity with thousands.

2011 – Swansea
1Eid expands into Wales, uniting families and faith communities beyond England.

2012 – Cambridge & High Wycombe Launches
More cities embrace 1Eid’s vision of inclusive, family-centred celebrations.

2014 – Bristol & Rickmansworth Launches
1Eid continues to spread across the South, bringing colour, culture, and connection to new communities.

2015 – Harrow Launch & Ramadan Souk Tour (Annual)
A milestone year — 1Eid launches the Ramadan Souk Tour, supporting small businesses and local entrepreneurs in cities nationwide.

2016 – 1Eid Community Summer Fete (Annual Event)
An annual celebration blending joy, culture, and learning, strengthening bonds and building long-term community spirit.

2018 – Global Relief for Syria & Iftar in the Park (Annual Interfaith Dinner)
1Eid extends its compassion globally, supporting Syrian families and promoting interfaith harmony through shared meals in the park.

2019 – Global Relief for Africa
Expanding humanitarian aid to Africa, reflecting 1Eid’s mission to serve both locally and globally.

2020 – Local Food Drive & NHS Support
During the pandemic, 1Eid volunteers deliver vital food parcels and essentials to families and NHS frontline workers.

2021 – 1Eid Interfaith Forum
A new platform dedicated to dialogue, respect, and collaboration between diverse faith communities.

2022 – Dawa Art: Children’s Wellbeing Workshops
Creative workshops launched to nurture emotional wellbeing, spiritual connection, and a strong sense of identity in young hearts.

2023 – Gaza Medical Campaign
Emergency fundraising and aid for families in Gaza, supporting life-saving medical care and humanitarian relief.

2024 – The Watan Project (Afghanistan)
A global initiative to rebuild Afghanistan through education, orphan care, and community development.

2025 – Peace Within Launch
The birth of Peace Within — a counselling and wellbeing branch of 1Eid, dedicated to emotional healing, faith-based therapy, and mental health support for the community.
