1Eid started with many hearts in mind. It has taken more than ten years of work to build what it is today, and we’re honoured to share that journey with you.
From one park to a movement
What began in 2007 as a single community Eid has grown into festivals in East London, West London, Luton and beyond, with communities in other cities trained to run their own.
Along the way, the platform has grown into a vehicle for relief work across Africa, Syria, Pakistan, Morocco and Afghanistan, and for support closer to home during the pandemic.
